Technology works best when everyone participates in shaping it. Vote on short statements, or suggest your own. No account needed.

Follow five principles of constructive dialogue

These keep the forum useful for everyone. Each statement stands on its own, so there are no reply threads to argue in.

  1. Critique ideas, never peopleDisagree with an idea as clearly as you like. Leave the person out of it.
  2. Assume good faithMost people are doing their best with what they know. Ask before you assume harm.
  3. Positivity with substanceEncouragement and rigor work together. Be kind and be specific.
  4. Ethics and transparencySay when AI helped you write something, cite your sources, and be honest about what you do not know.
  5. Lift while you climbShare what you learn so the next person has an easier time.

Vote on 8 statements

Pick Agree, Disagree, or Pass for each one. The statements cover 4 tracks: transparency, human agency, privacy, shared responsibility. Use Tab to reach the buttons and the arrow keys to move between them.

Your input is reviewed for civil discourse standards. We critique ideas, not people.

What we keep when you vote: your vote, the page language, and a random code saved in your browser so each person votes once. We don't store your name, email, or IP address with it. Votes are stored in a Neon database in Frankfurt, Germany. Like most websites, our host, Vercel, keeps short-term request logs that include IP addresses, for security. “Clear my votes” deletes them.

Automated assistants should say they are AI at the start of a conversation.

Add a statement of your own

A person reads every statement before it is shown. First, an AI model checks it for names and contact details: Mistral Small, or Google's Gemini as a backup, both on EU servers. It runs through OpenRouter, set to use only services that promise not to keep your text. Approved statements are shown to people who use the same language. Statements that single out a person, company, or group are not published. Please leave out personal details. Your input is reviewed for civil discourse standards. We critique ideas, not people.

See where people agree

Results show common ground, not the loudest voices. Votes are grouped by the language people vote in. A statement counts as broad agreement only when every language group supports it.
